Weekly Nature Walk- Cancelled

March 18 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The DNR will cancel the following events:

March 18 and March 25 Weekly Nature Walk. You are still welcome to walk the trails on your own.

In light of COVID-19, our teams are closely following guidelines from the Department of Health Services (DHS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization (WHO).

We continue to receive the most up-to-date information, including new guidance from DHS which recommends cancelling or postponing non-essential gatherings of people to help protect Wisconsinites from the spread of COVID-19, particularly those who are most vulnerable to infection and severe disease.

1-2:30pm. These relaxed, guided walks will explore marsh flora and fauna while taking in the stunning views on the marsh.  Length and difficulty will depend upon participants. Meeting location will vary; check website/Facebook for updates. No walk Nov. 27, December 25 or January 1.

The Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located on Hwy. 28 between the cities of Horicon and Mayville.  For more information please call Liz Herzmann at 920-387-7893 or e-mail her at elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.
