Rooted at Horicon: Wild Dehydrating

July 16: Rooted at Horicon: Wild Dehydrating 6:00-8:00pm. Gain the skills to preserve food for your next adventure, or just the upcoming winter! We will demonstrate dehydrating fresh herbs, fruits and berries, custom tea blends, and even healthy dog treats! Take home scores of dehydrated treats and the wisdom to preserve your own garden or farmer’s market goodies! Pack your walking shoes for a short hike to search for common wild edibles at Horicon Marsh. Must be 18 years or older; limit of 12 participants. Pre-registration and non-refundable $15 fee required.
