Owl Moon Storybook Trail
February 1 - February 29
As the pages of the calendar turn, so do the pages of the storybook trail. 📆
For the month of February, the Indermuehle Island loop will feature the Caldecott Medal-winning Owl Moon, written by Jane Yolen and illustrated by John Schoenherr. Walk the storybook trail and be taken on an imaginative father-daughter adventure in search of elusive Great Horned Owls.
Right now is also the beginning of the Great Horned Owls’ nesting season, so listen close while you’re reading and you may have your own owl experience! Bring the whole family out for the storybook trail in February-it’ll be a hoot! 🦉
Trail is open from dawn until 10pm.
We hope to see you at many of the events that the education center has to offer. All events are subject to change. The Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located on Hwy. 28 between the cities of Horicon and Mayville.
