Morning Bird Hike-Cancelled

The Wisconsin DNR continues to follow the State of Wisconsin’s Badger Bounce Back Plan for the health and well-being of all Wisconsinites. Phase 1 of the plan limits the size of in-person gatherings, and many events will be canceled, including the upcoming Morning Bird Hike on July 9. Thank you for your interest.
July 9: Morning Birding Hike 7-10am. Grab your binoculars and meet at Dodge County Harnischfeger Park. A birding hike led by Jeff Bahls. Excellent for beginning and experienced birders! Meet W3048 Crawfish Road – Ixonia, WI Latitude: 43.210988/Longitude: -88.546100. Free and no registration required.
Harnischfeger Park (132 acres) is the largest Dodge County Park. The park is located in southeastern Dodge County along the Rock River in the Town of Lebanon about one mile west of the unincorporated community of Ashippun and eight miles east of Watertown. A variety of terrain, vegetation and facilities provide park visitors with a multitude of recreational opportunities in a scenic setting. An 800 foot boardwalk provides additional shoreline fishing, wildlife and wetland viewing opportunities.
