Majority of Refuge Closes to Visitor Access
Majority of Horicon National Wildlife Refuge Closes to Visitor Access for bird migration/nesting seasons. Public use areas (auto tour/trails, Bud Cook Hiking Area, Main Dike Road, fishing accesses, Hwy 49 Viewing Area) remain open year round for approved recreational activities.
We hope to see you at many of the events that the education center has to offer. All events are subject to change. The Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located on Hwy. 28 between the cities of Horicon and Mayville.
