Family Fun Night: New Moon Stargazing (indoor program)

January 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

UPDATE: Due to probable cloudy conditions, this will be a one hour indoor program.

Bundle up and bring out the whole family for this fun introduction to winter astronomy.  We will begin with an indoor presentation featuring winter constellations with tips and tricks for spotting them before taking a short hike out to the marsh to enjoy an open view of the wide winter sky.  Hear stories about how the constellations were given their names.

We hope to see you at many of the events that the education center has to offer.  All events are subject to change, for detailed or additional information on any event please visit www.horiconmarsh.org. The Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located on Hwy. 28 between the cities of Horicon and Mayville.  For more information please call Liz Herzmann at 920-387-7893 or e-mail her at elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.
